MESSAGE FROM THE RESIDENT DISTRICT COMMISSIONER TO THE PUBLIC
The year that ended 31st December 2022 had a lot of challenges which were life threatening (Epidemics) and also witnessed some disasters.
As we crossover to the new year 2023, we pray to God that Uganda as a God fearing country, we pray that it is restored to its path of development as outlined in the National Resistance Movement (NRM) manifesto and the National Development Plan (NDP).
As Kakumiro District Local Government, we are looking at continued cohesion among all our political players and technical staffs to ensure sustainable peace, harmony and development.
On my part together with the members of the district security committee and core Justice Law and order Sector (JLOS), we promise to ensure the security of persons and provide a conducive environment for service delivery.
Am also looking at a year where everybody is doing his/her role especially the frontline officers in the Health, Education, Social sectors and that the community we serve are informed all the time about government programmes, projects and interventions intended to address their livelihood.
